D-Wave names Carahsoft master government aggregator for public-sector distribution
D-Wave Quantum announced on 2025-01-15 a distribution partnership making Carahsoft Technology Corp. its Master Government Aggregator for the U.S. public sector. Per D-Wave's press release and a related 8-K (item 1.01, filed 2025-01-10 and 2025-01-15), Carahsoft will make D-Wave's annealing and gate-model offerings available through reseller partners and procurement vehicles including NASA SEWP V, ITES-SW2, TIPS, OMNIA Partners, E&I Cooperative Services, and The Quilt. The arrangement is a sales channel, not a fixed-value contract.
Carahsoft is the dominant government IT aggregator; the deal lowers the procurement friction for U.S. agencies to buy D-Wave quantum services, a distribution step that precedes but does not itself guarantee revenue.
